What are the dimensions, side to side, end to end, along the top. Same for the bottom? Depth? Inside color?
répondre: This terrine has tapered sides, so the mold is a trapezoid shape. The side to side is 2 1/2" on top and 1 3/4 on the bottom. Length is 10", depth 3". The inside is black, and has a waffled texture to it. This mold fits about 1.5 pounds of pate, or about 12 oz of bread dough. -

How tall is it at the highest point of the knob on the lid?
répondre: My knob is 4 3/4" high from the base to the top of the knob. But the knob can be easily unscrewed and removed. Then the piece is only 3 1/2" high. -

Could this be used essentially as a mini dutch oven for a wood stove top with unique dimensions?

répondre: The inside of this pot IS indeed PORCELAIN ENAMELED. Lava uses a Slate Black matte finish enamel for the interior for MOST ALL of its cast-iron pots and pans.
