The RA1165 base has threaded holes positioned in Bosch’s 4-hole subbase pattern and common 3-holes subbase pattern for mounting. The wide 3-3/4 base opening allows for the use of larger bits while the quick clamp system allows the motor to be moved with ease for tool-free base changes.
