Extech Hygrometers Editorial Review

The Extech Digit Thermometer 401014 is a reliable and accurate thermometer with some useful features. The probe wire is approximately 8ft long, and there is a switch at the back of the unit to read temperature in Celsius. The display is easy to read, but it does not have a backlight. The thermometer also keeps track of the minimum and maximum temperatures, and there is a slot in the back to hang it on the wall. It is suitable for various spaces, and the large characters make it easy to read. The thermometer is durable, and the attached probe is overbuilt. People use this thermometer to keep track of the temperature in different spaces, and it comes recommended. There is a concern that it may cause a gap in the seal of a stand-up fridge or freezer. Also, it requires a hole in the frame of a window to use it outdoors.
