The Vgate VS600 Diagnostic Scan Tool is an advanced OBDII/EOBD Scanner that is suitable for all 1996 & later OBD2 compliant US, European & Asian vehicles. It supports bilingual interface & definitions-English/Spanish. The device reads live data, displays all data inputs and voltages for operational components. It does not reset ABS/airbag alarms for VW Passat 2015. The main disadvantage is that it only diagnoses the powertrain system. It works with 12V petrol vehicles made in the U.S. compatible with standard OBD2 protocols after 1996 and 12V Light diesel vehicles with a load of 6.5T or less supporting the OBD2 protocols after 1996, and cannot be used on a 24V power diesel cars. Some customers experienced difficulty when received and found the item defective. Others were very pleased with how well it worked and was able to provide internal code descriptions without having to look them up.
