    répondre: Yes it fits the vortec v8s but the cap did not last me 2 weeks before it started jumping fire inside of it causing back fires and no start. Its a good kit just plan on buying a different cap
  • question: I have 5.7 vortec in a north river jet boat is this marine?

    répondre: I’m not sure. I purchased mine for a van since it’s in a confined space there was an issue of excessive heat and they worked out nicely for that application. A jet boat maybe similar in excessive heat.
  • question: How long should the spark plugs? Cap? Wires? Last...

    répondre: Factory suggests 100k miles. Mechanics suggest 15-25k miles, old school thinking also looked at adjusting/looking at the points and plugs within 25k miles and if racing every time and adjust your timing before running hard. With electronic ignition you should be able to go at least 50k miles without any adjustments which is one of the reasons you upgraded to electronic ignition. Go to up graded plugs such as platinum tips and it should run true to 100k miles without issue.

    répondre: This is a tune up kit for 1996-02 GM Truck and Van with 5.0L V8 Vortec Engine.
  • question: Does this fit 02 Yukon

    répondre: I wouldn't recommend this product. The distributer cap shorted out after a short time. I replaced the cap with a cap from auto zone. The wires and plugs were fine. I tested the plug wires when the engine was misfiring and number one wire was getting a weak fire every time the coil would fire. I dont know if it fits the Yukon.
  • question: This shows 8 plug leads, and a distributor car with 6 outputs, which is it a gm 6cyl or gm 8cyl?

    répondre: I installed these a year ago, I don't recall, a voice in my head keeps saying no.
