What are OCEAN REEF Optical Lenses Support 2.0?

OCEAN REEF Optical Lenses Support 2.0 is a specialized accessory designed for use with OCEAN REEF full-face masks. It allows users to integrate their optical prescription lenses directly into the mask for improved vision underwater. This support is beneficial for divers who require vision correction but still want the benefits of a full-face mask, making it ideal for both recreational divers and professionals alike.

How do I install the Optical Lenses Support in my OCEAN REEF mask?

Installing the Optical Lenses Support is straightforward. First, ensure your mask is clean and dry. Remove the existing lens if applicable, then carefully position the lens support into the mask's frame according to the provided guidelines. Once securely in place, you can insert your optical lenses. This setup ensures a secure fit while allowing clear visibility underwater, enhancing your diving experience.

Can I use different types of prescription lenses with the OCEAN REEF Optical Lenses Support?

Yes, OCEAN REEF Optical Lenses Support is compatible with various types of prescription lenses, including single-vision and bifocal lens designs. However, it’s essential to ensure that the lenses are trimmed and fitted correctly to the support. This compatibility allows divers with different vision needs to customize their experience for clearer sight while exploring the depths.

What size of optical lenses will fit in the OCEAN REEF support?

The OCEAN REEF Optical Lenses Support is designed to fit a standard sizing compatible with various optical lens dimensions. When ordering your lenses, make sure to provide your optician with your specific lens measurements to ensure a snug fit. This is crucial for maximizing underwater visibility and comfort since the right lens size contributes significantly to the overall fit of the mask.

Is the Optical Lenses Support suitable for children?

While the OCEAN REEF Optical Lenses Support is designed as a one-size-fits-all solution, it may not be ideal for very small faces or children. It is recommended to check size compatibility with the specific mask model. Children who wear glasses can also benefit from adopting these supports for a more comfortable diving experience as it provides clear vision without the hassle of glasses or contact lenses.

How do I care for the Optical Lenses Support?

To ensure the longevity of the OCEAN REEF Optical Lenses Support, clean it with a mild soap and fresh water after each dive. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the lenses or degrade the support. Proper care not only enhances visibility but also protects the equipment, ensuring you maintain a clear line of sight on all your underwater adventures.

Are there any limitations when using Optical Lenses Support 2.0?

One limitation is that it may not accommodate all ranges of corrective lenses, particularly for extreme prescriptions. It's crucial to check with your optometrist for compatibility. However, for most users, the support enhances their diving experience, providing clarity and comfort while exploring underwater landscapes, ensuring a memorable diving adventure.

Can I customize my optical lenses for the OCEAN REEF support?

Yes, many opticians can create customized optical lenses tailored specifically for the OCEAN REEF Optical Lenses Support. You can specify your desired prescription, coatings, and even transitions if desired. This customization ensures that you benefit from the best vision correction while enjoying your diving activities, making the diving experience more enjoyable and safer.
