However, it is not wide enough to span windows. The stabilizer holds firm during use and has safety bolts for added security. It is not recommended to attach the stabilizer to the top ladder rung. The Ladder-Max works on roofs with slopes but not on flat roofs. It is compatible with aluminum ladders, but may not fit on all brand models.
