They do not come with protective caps. The TL75 is PVC insulated and suitable for CAT IV rating. However, for overvoltage category ratings, the TL175 with the TwistGuard feature is recommended. These test leads will also fit non-Fluke meters but make sure your meter can accommodate the shrouded 4mm male plugs.
