Answer: No, it's a plastic paper cutter with a metal blade. It cuts paper. -

Is the grid printed on or does the grind 'molded' into the surface like some other larger trimmers?
Answer: The grid is printed on a laminate type sheet and adhered to the surface. I feel mine is pretty accurate, as the lines are very fine. -

Does the cutting arm lock into place for storing ?
Answer: No it does not. It stays stable however. -

I’m looking for replacement blade for the guillotine mine is dull and not giving clean cuts. I’ve only used for paper. Where can I get a replacement?
Answer: I am not sure if they make a replacement blade for this cutter. I have looked and have not been able to find one. I have read that if you take a piece of aluminum foil and cut it will sharpen the blade. -

How do you sharpen the blade?
Answer: I’ve never needed to sharpen a guillotine style trimmer. I’ve heard that cutting foil with a blade will sharpen it, but not sure you’ll ever need to. -
