    Answer: I have sliced frozen meat, it was great! I took the meat out from the freezer 30min-1hr before I sliced it. I only sliced really thinly, not like steak thick.

    Answer: The blade measures 17cm.

    Answer: Everything is inside the package, nothing is outside.
  • Question: Can this slicer cut crusty bread without damaging the machine?

    Answer: No problem cutting crusty bread. This is the best slicer we ever had! You can even slice cucumber and onions in thin slices.
  • Question: Can parts go into dishwasher? How easy is it to clean?

    Answer: (1) Removable plastic parts and the un-mounted blade can go into the dishwasher, but obviously not the main structure of the machine! (2) The machine is unfortunately difficult to clean easily.

    Answer: No spare blade. As suggested, contact Ritter.
  • Question: Thoughts on how easy it is to clean after slicing meat, bread, cheese, veg?

    Answer: Yes, just unscrew the blade - easy enough, then clean with hot soapy water. Make sure it's unplugged. The only issue I have is there is a small gap at the back between the blade and the bed, use a knife wrapped in an old towel to get to it - sorted.

    Answer: I couldn't measure the smallest cut, but it's about as thin as a slice of prosciutto. The largest cut is 20mm.
