It comes with a 25-inch hood, which collects about 90% of sawdust on a 90-degree cut. This product is compatible with most saws, including a 12" DeWalt sliding compound miter saw. However, the directions that came with the product are not very helpful, so some customers had to search on YouTube for installation tutorials. Additionally, some customers complained that the adapter included in their purchase did not fit the dust collector, but using the POWERTEC 70149 Dust Control Flex Cuff with Hose Clamps, 4-Inch resolved this issue. Customers also suggest purchasing a 45-degree fitting to direct the original dust chute downward into the shroud to make it even more efficient. The shroud is well-made of good materials, although the wing nuts can come loose during operation. Despite this, the product works well and is highly recommended for those looking to reduce sawdust in their workspace.
