The latching relay module is designed for DC power sources and can be switched from the negative (ground) side to latch or unlatch the module. It remembers the previous state on power loss but can be modified to reset on start-up. Multiple momentary set and reset switch pairs wired in parallel can control the module. It comes with a protection diode across the relay coil. Customer reviews have been mixed. Some are disappointed as the product arrived broken/faulty or didn't work, and no directions were included. Others have had success with the product, and it does what it's supposed to do. One review mentioned that they had to add a resistor transistor circuit to reverse the incoming trigger as it needs a negative trigger, and they needed to use +5V.
